This role represents a superb opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well established manufacturer. You will be working as part of a small and friendly team, taking full responsibility for purchase ledger and covering other areas of transactional accounting. You will be working for a highly supportive Finance Manager, who will assist you in your career development. This role has the potential to be highly will be a great opportunity to build your CV and gain some superb experience in the manufacturing industry. You must be a real "people person" who excels at building good working relationships with your suppliers and colleagues, and possess a real eye for detail; accuracy is a critical component of this role. Experience in computerised accountancy software such as SAGE 200/500, SAP or Opera would be advantageous, but prior experience in Purchase ledger is essential!
Duties will include;

  • Accounts payable invoice processing
  • Statement reconciliations and audits
  • Matching Purchase orders
  • Reconciling delivery notes
  • Post journals and prepare accounts payable accruals
  • Credit control and customer queries
  • Processing Customer orders
  • Reconciling company credit cards
  • Employee expenses
