A Leading UK Property Developer are recruiting for an Assistant Finance Analyst A Leading UK Property Developer are recruiting for an Assistant Finance Analyst The Role Reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller, the Assistant Finance Analyst will be a key member of the Finance team, based in Brentwood, Essex. They will perform an important role by taking ownership of key areas critical to the success of the Division. Working with numerous disciplines, this role allows significant exposure across the Company. Study support is provided. Key Responsibilities : Ownership of the month end process for Joint Ventures/ Collaborations which includes preparing management accounts with variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and closing the ledgers. Preparation and submission of monthly VAT and CIS returns. Preparation of the weekly cashflow forecast for Joint Ventures/ Collaborations. Preparation and submission of Group deliverables/ schedules. Ownership of the division's banking and raising of sales invoices, including credit control duties. Support senior members of the finance team with the Division's month end. Assist the Regional Finance Business Partners with the preparation of the monthly management packs/ Board Pack. Assist in the Half-Year and Full-Year audit taking ownership of any Joint Venture/ Collaboration queries. Assist in the preparation of financial statements. Ad-hoc project work to improve the Division's current systems and processes. Other ad-hoc duties as required. Knowledge and Skills : Ideally a Graduate with a relevant degree/ AAT studier. Knowledge of Financial and Management Accounting. Good levels of competence on spreadsheets. An ability to work as a team member. Willingness to learn and progress.
