£Competitive About the role: Our client have an exciting opportunity in the recently created, broad and all-encompassing Commercial Finance team. Reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Manager you will be responsible for carrying out accurate and meaningful analysis to aid productivity and effective decision making and ultimately have an impact on the success of the business. Responsibilities:
- Support the Commercial Finance Manager in providing the appropriate reporting, analysis and commentary for month-end management reporting and regular leadership reviews. - Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with prior year and budget / forecasts. - Reporting performance on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis as required. - Analysis of large data sets and delivery of concise financial outputs. - Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support. - Support the Commercial Finance Manager with annual planning process including budget and rolling forecast updates. - Increase productivity by developing automated reporting / forecasting tools. - Preparation of other ad hoc analysis as and when required. - Work closely with the Financial Control team to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Support of wider Commercial Finance team where appropriate. About you: - Must be IT literate with excellent Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with data query / data management tools is extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects). - BA, BS, or B Com degree required (Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics). - Ideally 2-3 years of business finance or other relevant experience. - Commercially minded with strong analytical skills. - Dealing with high volumes of complex data and producing reports for multiple entities. - MS Excel - analysis, data manipulation and reporting. - Infor M3 desirable. - Able to resolve queries quickly and efficiently. - Providing accurate information first time with attention to detail.
