£30,000 - £32,000 Hours: 35 hours per week I am currently working with a Property business based in East London. They are looking for a Client Accountant to join their finance team and look after a portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will have experience working as a Client Accountant with in a property management business that includes Residential Block Management. You will have experience using QUBE Property Management system. In return you will work in a fantastic office environment located close to transport links. Job Specification - Client accountant Preparation of client statements & VAT reports (Monthly and quarterly) Setting up of new managements as and when required Annual service charge budgets:Preparation of draft budgets on a section of our management portfolio. Discussion with Property Managers. Updating tenant's individual database charges. Finalising and sending to tenantsPreparing year end service charges files ready for audit. Dealing with accountant's queries. Reviewing with property managers. Finalising and sending to tenants Preparation of monthly/quarterly invoicing prelist, liaison with property manager, raising agreed charges and printing and sending invoices to tenants Barclays internet banking input of payments (Online access to bank account) Credit control: Discussing arrears with Property Manager. Telephoning tenants and/or sending reminder letters. Instructing Civil Enforcement Officers Tenant and client liaison as required Dealing with correspondence and emails as appropriate Ad hoc duties Our computer system is MRI QUBE from MRI Qube Global Software. Additional training for emergencies/holiday cover etc. will be provided on Purchase Ledger and cashiering/daily banking.
