Change Public Practice are recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper/VAT Assistant to join a busy and friendly accountancy firm based in Leven. In this newly created role, you will provide bookkeeping services to a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies as well as assisting with Cloud-based software packages such as Xero. Main responsibilities will include:
• Producing and submitting VAT returns
• Preparation of monthly management accounts for client base
• Implementation of cloud accounting systems for clients using either manual records or desktop software
• Training clients on the use of cloud bookkeeping software and associated apps
• Providing training sessions with internal staff and assisting with any queries they may have
• Develop the use of cloud software to streamline working practices and processes
• Providing demonstrations to clients and advising on improving efficiency and the best use of cloud and associated technologies, sometimes from their premises To be considered you should:
• Xero software experience is essential
• Have experience gained within a similar role in Practice
• Be able to deal with a multitude of clients and to prioritise your workload
• Be a confident, diligent individual who is able to work to strict deadlines In return you will be part of a growing and developing team and have the opportunity to work with a varied client base.
