If so, we're excited to hear from you Our client is a market leading independent engineering company just in Ashby who have seen massive growth over recent years, having won a number of high profile contracts as well as receiving a multi-million pound injection of funding. They now have their sights set on international expansion, and require a talented and experienced Finance Business Partner to take control of the company's finances. You'll be working with an established team, including a very talented Management Accountant, and as such this will be more of a commercially focussed role in which you'll be WITH the numbers, rather than producing them directly. It will be heavily project focussed, and will see you get heavily involved in all areas of business. Reporting to the ACA Qualified Managing Director, the successful candidate will be expected to: Review and investigation of P&L and Balance Sheet variances to develop commentary for inclusion in key financial reports Lead the budget and reforecast process for strategic plans Business partnering with the Senior Management Team, influencing key decisions to ensure continued growth can be achieved. Work closely with Project Managers, being their Financial Business Partner and reviewing all projects as required Review processes to enhance and develop internal systems and controls Provide leadership in the development of robust financial and business system Liaising with banks, external advisors and auditors Analysis of production costs and manufacturing variance analysis. Preparation and monitoring of KPI's and review of job progress/WIP analysis The ideal candidate will be: Fully CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified with experience within the engineering/manufacturing industry, or looking for your first move outside of an Accountancy Practice An assertive leader with strong communication skills. Numerate & analytical - experience of working with costing, turnover & margins Ability to develop effective relationships both internally and externally Ability to analyse complex information to propose and implement recommendations whilst making sound decisions Benefits : £35,000 - £45,000 Bonus Private medical Life Assurance Pension
