Job Details

The role of the Finance Business Partner is to manage the day to day finance function for the Sheffield based site. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain commercial exposure to a growing business and work as part of a dynamic team.

Client Details

My client were recently a private owned consultative business to energy companies. They have recently been acquired by a well-known managed services businesses and are looking to recruit a finance person on to their Sheffield site. They deal with high exposure clients and offer debt recovery, energy efficiency device installation and revenue protection.

Description

The successful candidate would be responsible for the following;

  • Day to day management of the site's finances

  • Being the point of contact for the yearly audit

  • Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts

  • Prepare and maintain the P&L, budget and forecasts

  • Partner with the management team across the business to provide insight and offer financial support to the relevant overheads

  • Establish cost drivers and improve profitability

  • Introduce a strong set of financial controls

  • Production of the monthly management accounts and reporting pack

Profile

The successful candidate should possess the following;

  • CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified

  • 2-3 years post qualified

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Full Drivers License

  • A desire to work in a fast paced, hands on role

  • Confident in their ability to communicate to people across all levels of the business

Job Offer

a salary between £40,000-£45,000 with a £5,000 car allowance. Private health care, 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays, free onsite parking, 6% pension contribution
