Reed Accountancy are pleased to partner with an exciting and highly innovate organisation, based in the Oxford Science Park, in their search of a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an exciting and challenging position which will play a key role within the wider Finance Team and is tasked with providing excellent service to both suppliers and internal stakeholders. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the successful candidate will be the initial contact for any supplier invoicing queries, ensuring that supplier relationships are maintained to a high standard, ensuring the business can function as efficiently as possible. Key Responsibilities will include: Matching, checking and coding invoices Calculating correct VAT application Preparation of weekly payment runs Initial set up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details Reconciliation of supplier statements Archiving and filing of invoices Managing all queries As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, and will be able to demonstrate a strong ability to problem solve independently. You will be a self motivated individual, with the ability to take on new tasks and learn new systems quickly, with a desire to develop your career within Finance. Ideally, you will be educated to at least GCSE level (A-C in Mathematics & English) with previous office experience. Accounts payable experience would be beneficial but not essential, and the ability to use Microsoft Dynamics AX (full training will be given).
