This Internal Controls & Risk Manager role is with a global US-listed business (approx $2bn t/o) who continue to grow by acquisition, solidifying themselves as a market leader in North America and UK&I, but without compromising their founding values and high-quality service. This role is ideal for someone who wants to progress their career in a commercial business who offers a highly ethical service.
Your new role
You will play a critical role in ensuring that the business can continue to sustain it's rapid rate of growth without exposing itself to unnecessary risks. You will have a diverse range of responsibilities including process mapping, redesigning controls frameworks, processes & procedures, helping to drive a move towards automation, supporting software implementations, leading the business through SOx compliance (including IPE's) and various other ad-hoc projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a relevant qualification (e.g. ACA/ACCA). Prior experience in Big 4/Top 10 practice is advantageous but not essential. You must have strong experience of financial controls - preferably SOx - as well as process mapping & improvement. Strong communication skills are essential. You must be a driven & dynamic individual with an appetite for change.
