ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant working for a great organisation based in Huntingdon. There is on site parking and the company offers excellent benefits including company pension, life assurance, health insurance, subsidised gym membership and 23 days holiday plus bank holiday. You will have previous experience of accounts, but there is training to develop you to the next level. Working in a small team, duties will include:
• Invoicing: posting of all customer invoices on a daily basis
• Credit control: all customer payments are monitored and chased when required. All payments to be accurately allocated to specific invoices. Statements to be sent out each month and reconciled with customer records.
• Sales ledger: ensure all customers are properly set up and relevant credit checks are undertaken. Ensure accounts are reviewed regularly and set up insurance cover.
• Covering for purchase ledger
• VAT returns
• Process expenses
• Annual rebates
• Supplying management information and reports About you:
• A team player
• Previous accounts experience
• Strong communication skills
• Accurate and attention to detail
