Finance Analyst urgently required for 4-6 month contract. £20 per hour - Monday to Friday 9-5/8-4 Immediate Start Available Cardiff City Centre Based Are you a Financial Analyst or currently studying towards your ACA, ACCA or CIMA? We have a 4-6 month project in the heart of Cardiff City Centre with an desirable employer. Within this project you would be responsible for undertaking key activities to help to ensure that the Finance function continues to maintain a robust financial control framework. Specific activities will include day-to-day management and control of corporate cashbooks and other balance sheet accounts. Monitor and action requests relating to the Pooled client base. This includes updating client fee rate changes, adding new clients and arrangements, raising final invoices and dealing with client specific queries. Liaise with the Client Relationship Teams and Client Relationship Managers to ensure any changes to policies are implemented in a timely and efficient manner. Prepare and calculate the monthly revenue invoices that cannot be produced via the automated system in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy. Assist in the preparation of ad hoc work to investigate and address issues raised by Client Relationship Managers. Support the finance manager with any new responsibilities that may emerge. Qualifications required - Studying for ACA, ACCA or CIMA Required - Key accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping and the concept of accruals is key to this role. The role holder should be working towards an appropriate accountancy qualification or have significant on-the job experience within a Finance environment.
