Senior Assistant Accountant Purpose of Job - To work within the management accounts team, producing the smooth operation of the Dealership month end account functions and ensuring all accounts are fully reconciled. Responsibilities - To reconcile vehicle stock schedules and balance sheet accounts as necessary. To co-ordinate and reconcile the vehicle stock check ensuring all vehicles are accounted for, visiting sites as necessary. To reconcile and process labour clearing accounts, Technician's holiday pay and WIP accruals. To reconcile vehicle deposits. To produce the provisional expense analysis reports prior to tracker submission and review before accounts submission and then finalising on production of the accounts. To assist with tracker inputs. To compile year on year analysis reports. To fulfil any ad hoc duties in relation to the administration of the Accounts department as may be required by Management To maintain good working relationships with all other staff and to provide cover for other staff in the department in the event of holiday and sickness, especially the vehicle banking clerk. To carry out any further duties within capabilities when requested by management.
