Finance Director VC backed FinTech Series A 85-95K equity Talentedge are proud to be collaborating with a fantastic VC backed FinTech start-up being named one of The UK's fastest growing FinTech's. Having launched in the US market, my client is seeking a Finance Director to lead the business and drive further growth across international territory. As Finance Director, you will be working directly with the CEO to deliver strategic growth initiatives whilst having full ownership over building out a robust and scalable finance function. Key
responsibilities:
Production of monthly MI packs and financial reporting to analyse ongoing performance. This will be used throughout the business up to board level. Ownership of month-end close Development of monthly management reports for the Board Implementation of scalable processes and controls Implementing a strong financial control framework that is fit for purpose now and as the business continues to develop Ownership of cash reporting and cash flow management Oversight of AP/AR, payroll and pensions Ownership of all Tax / HMRC matters, including ensuring all deductions and payroll activities are compliant Ownership of day to day banking relationship Act as the primary go to person for monthly, quarterly and year-end financials and audit Liaising with external firms such as accountants, auditors, HMRC, and tax partners You will be a qualified accountant with up to 10yrs of industry experience having worked in high-growth start-ups, having scaled finance functions previously. It is essential to have worked with challenging senior stakeholders and investors with experience leading funding rounds. If you have experience launching new product lines and emerging in international markets then you could be a good fit. Please get in touch ASAP
