A successful international investment firm is seeking an experienced fund accountant/ bookkeeper to join their team. They will be managing all aspects of finance for the company and being a small/medium firm, this will allow them to have control and exposure to all book keeping. This position is part-time looking at 1 day a week with some possible over time. The successful candidate will be able to work independently with previous experience in investment/fund accounting. responsibilities:
- Liaising with Fund investors and stakeholders - Monthly fund entity preparation of trial balances and NAV calculations for distribution to investors - Managing the accounting operations - Advising line managers with queries - Meeting to strict deadlines - Managing accounts - Foreign currency and investment/fund accounting is essential - Maintaining audit trail in a timely manner - Processing expense claims - Liaising supplier relationships and invoices
