About the Role: We have an immediate requirement for a Fixed Term - 12 month Finance Assistant to join our large, friendly Adult Care Finance Team in Lincoln. If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, with plenty of variety and the chance to learn new things, then this is the role for you The key element of your role as Finance Assistant is to ensure that adult care payments are made within the agreed timescales. You will be responsible for ensuring you have all the information to process payments accurately with an attention to detail. As part of the role you will also deal with correspondence and daily inbound/outbound telephone enquiries of a personal and confidential nature. About You: Bring your enthusiasm and passion for the role and we will provide excellent on the job training for you to be a success. If you already have experience in a similar financial role and environment or knowledge of financial procedures then we want to hear from you Knowledge of Adult Social Care would be advantageous. You will have responsibility for calculating payments both to individuals and providers, so all that we ask is that you have a good level of education - GCSE C or above in English and Maths or proven literacy and numeracy skills as well as competences in Microsoft applications and/or computerised financial systems.
