SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an FP&A Manager for a fast growing Private Equity backed services business in Nottingham. This is a newly created vacancy to support the continued growth planned for the business. As the FP&A Manager you will report directly into the Group Financial Controller and will play a fundamental role in building and shaping a strong FP&A function across the business. You'll lead the planning, forecasting and budgeting processes, deliver analysis and advice to drive optimal decision making, and be a strong business partner to key stakeholders including the senior leadership team, the Board and Private Equity investors. This role will have the ability to make a real difference by influencing change and developing new ways of thinking. Key responsibilities; - Long-term financial planning and modelling for P&L, Cash flow and Balance Sheet - Creating, updating and maintaining financial models - Overseeing the rolling forecast and budgeting process - Supporting the Controller with the business planning process - Providing insightful intelligence and commercial financial analysis on business performance, maintaining a close eye on revenue, expenses and profit - Identifying potential obstacles and risks ahead of time - Undertaking special projects when required - Streamlining existing processes and procedures including systems and financial controls You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment. You will be hands on with proven business partnering and financial analysis skills. You will have advanced Excel and be able to deliver succinct briefings and prepare board packs. You will have excellent communication skills, with gravitas and comfortable challenging stakeholders. You will have a strategic and commercial mindset.
