We are recruiting for a professional and hardworking Ledger Assistant to work for a large Professional Services Company in North East Birmingham on a full time basis. Ledger Assistant (Payments)
Responsibilities:
To ensure all Purchase Ledger transactions are paid in line with company policy To reconcile the Purchase Ledger cashbooks on a regular basis First point of contact for regular supplier queries Process credit card payments via the in-house database Ensure Purchase Invoices are checked for accuracy before payment is authorised Review all payment runs before submitting them to higher Management Processing expenses and employee claims forms Deal with emergency cheque requests and ad hoc payments Review all statements to the Ledger Ledger Assistant (Payments) Profile: Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both in person and via telephone Integrity and the ability to handle sensitive data at a high professional standard Strong team player Educated to GCSE level or higher with good numeracy and literacy skills Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
