Financial Accountant

Leading engineering company are seeking Financial Accountant to join their team!

Your new company
You will be working for an international engineering company based just a short journey from Richmond. Based in their new modern offices close to shops and green spaces you will be supporting the Finance Business Partner and responsible for the day to day accounting of two legal entities.

Your new role
Your new role as Financial Accountant will be to have full responsibility of these legal entities, this will include sales invoices, posting supplier invoices and raising payments. You will also be in charge of cash management, reconciliations and forecasting. At the end of each month you will be preparing and submitting the management accounts for your entities. Your role will also include VAT returns, payroll journals, calculating and recharging of overheads, intercompany reconciliations and prepping the YE packs. You will be the first point of contact for stakeholders in regards to your entities.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need to be studying towards an accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA) or QBE. You will have previous experience in a similar role and have strong interpersonal skills.
