• Responsible for the complete and accurate processing of all accounting records to enable the reporting of financial performance and position during the year and at year end This includes the compiling accurate records for fixed assets, Debtors, Creditors pension liabilities, and reserves
• Managing the process of cashflow forecasting with a cash balance, ensuring that balances are maintained above set thresholds;
• Staff Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• Managing for the preparing of the periodic and year-end financial statements for the whole organisation including the monitoring the impact of divisional and departments results on the year-end results
• Managing the cashflow forecasting process and reporting to senior management
• Finalising periodic reporting to senior management and the Authority on Financial Control related KPIs and other related matters
• Deputising for the Deputy Director, Financial Control in their absence including making strategic decisions for the whole Financial Control team where required.
• Audit Liaison
• Leading the external audit process for the Financial Statements
• Managing the internal audit process on all financial control processes
