Job Details
A large household name are currently seeking a European VAT Manager for their site in Bracknell. Due to high growth and an internal mover the role is critical within the Tax team.
Client Details
Michael Page are partnering with a large multinational organisation who is a household name. They have a team of 4 that sit within the tax team and you will have a very hands on, inspirational direct manager. The manager will provide a large amount of support initially especially working with multiple entities across the business.
Description
As the European VAT Manager, you will work in the European Tax team specifically focused on VAT, you will provide VAT for European and UK entities and take ownership of all 12 entities. You will liaise with internal stakeholders on all VAT issues across EMEA and provide expert advice. You will also manage the compliance for all entities and review them on a monthly basis. This role will support junior team members so you will provide a large amount of support to their learning and development.
Profile
To be successful you will have prior European VAT experience with a medium to large sized business, you will have strong communications skills to ensure you can communicate with all entities within EMEA. It would be desirable if you had a good understanding of SAP, however, this is not essential.
