Our client is a Financial Services organisation who have a close knit and successful business. They are a dynamic business that continues to grow successfully via acquisition and organic development. They are currently seeking to employ a Group Accountant to play a key role in the financial and management reporting of the Group as well as supporting wider business functions.

The role:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is an integral part of Finance operations. As Group Accountant you will provide hands on support in managing group compliances, general ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations, Trust Account reconciliations, general accounting duties and
financial reporting along with other ad hoc duties and tasks assigned by the Chief Financial Officer. You will play an important role be engaging with external vendors, internal peers and business leaders through the proactive delivery, reporting and communication of financial performance results.

To be considered for this role you will be:

• CA or CPA qualified
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce/Business
• Sound working knowledge of financial and management reporting, tax and other regulatory compliance.
• At least 3 years experience in a similar role
• strong administration, communication and organizational skills to manage high volumes of work in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Strong ERP accounting systems and technology skills
• the highest attention to detail and a flexible
• can-do approach to work.
