Our client is a well established medium sized accounting firm with a dedicated & experienced team who take pride in providing amazing customer service and results to their valued SME clients. They currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant to join their friendly team.

The position will suit an Accountant with around 1-4 years local Public Practice experience across Tax / Business Advisory that is looking to grow their career within a friendly & supportive team that is part of an International network and can provide the successful applicant with a rewarding career path & varied client exposure.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Preparation of Financial Statements & Tax Returns
• Working closely with your fellow team members
• Preparation of professional & tidy workpapers
• Tax Planning
• BAS/IAS preparation
• Liaising with clients and external agencies
• Working to budgets and taxation deadlines

Requirements:

• Local experience within a Public Practice position within BAS/TAX (1-4 years ideally)
• Degree qualified
• Preferably studying towards CA / CPA (Study support provided inc additional leave for exams)
• Strong communication skills - written & verbal
• Professionally presented with strong interpersonal skills looking to work in a professional corporate environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Have excellent time management skills and be well organised
