Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts, offering insights and analysis to aid decision-making.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring they align with business objectives and financial targets.
- Conduct financial forecasting to predict future trends and support strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets.
- Lead and mentor a finance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Proven experience in managing accounts, with strong skills in budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering effective relationships across the business.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) are highly desirable.
