Having successfully grown our International Markets underwriting division we have a newly created Distribution Manager to build out our distribution team. - Contribute to the development of annual Distribution Plans, aligned to the Business Plans, broker objectives and broker performance monitoring.
- Support the development of robust client & broker engagement strategies, encompassing pipeline management, strategic broker engagement & whole account views in line with the IM class of business strategy.
- Build relationships to upsell and cross sell ‘new’ business for all lines and support the development of wider relationships and engagement.
- Support and deliver strategic broker pipelines by understanding their strategies and align them with the QBE appetite and wider QBE strategy to reflect global and local agreements.
- Network internally and externally to promote the interests of QBE and to learn from others.
- Contribute to the successful implementation of Salesforce.
- Prepare performance reports to monitor performance and governance, and present information, when necessary, on activity internally and with Clients and Brokers.
- Support P&L owners by providing MI on performance to maintain and support strategies for clients and brokers.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the business including product, claims, operations and finance to maintain a cohesive approach to brokers and clients and deliver consistent messages with brokers in terms of strategy, product offering and plans.
About you
- Experience within insurance in a distribution capacity
- Fundamental understanding of the broker market, building relationships and understanding their key drivers.
- Knowledge and expertise of class specific underwriting and re-insurance.
- Consistent track record of supporting the delivery of strategic business plans
- Inter-personal skills to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
