I am currently recruiting for a well-respected Chartered Accountancy firm based in Northallerton, who are seeking a part qualified/qualified accountant to join their friendly team.

The type of individual we are looking for must be a good team player, have a can-do attitude, are keen to learn and be self-motivated. Excellent attention to detail is required and good communications skills are essential. A minimum level 6 in GCSE Mathematics and GCSE English and AAT Level 4 or above is required.

For this role, the main duties will include:

• Preparation of sole trader, partnership, limited company, and any other accounts from manual and/or electronic records
  
• Prepare and present financial statements on our software
  
• Preparation of capital allowances computations, personal, partnership and company tax returns
  
• Review if any further services can be provided to increase fee income or areas to enhance client service
  
• Provide advice and support to other Accountants and Trainees when required
