Our client a high-growth, PE-backed global business based in Liverpool that offers hybrid working. is seeking a Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA candidate
In this role, you’ll gain invaluable experience and exposure in a high-growth environment, working under the guidance of a high-calibre Group Financial Controller committed to supporting your development.
The role is based in Liverpool city centre with hybrid working 2 days a week
Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts for global entities.
* Collaborate with the financial processing team to ensure accurate, timely bookkeeping.
* Review P&L postings to ensure correct allocation, adjusting via journals where necessary.
* Produce and post key revenue-related journals, including accrued and deferred income.
* Work with project managers to align revenue recognition with project status.
* Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving differences.
* Provide P&L variance analysis and explanations to management.
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes with analysis and insights.
* Assist with year-end working papers, financial statements, and group audits.
* Participate in projects, including acquisition accounting and entity integrations.
Skills & Experience:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
* International experience is desirable
* Strong communicator, able to collaborate across all business levels
