Credit Controller - France (Fixed Term Contract - 6 Months)



Location:
Gravesend, UK (minimum 3 days per week on-site)

Hours: Standard 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:30

The Opportunity:

Based in the UK, this role is to focus on our French Credit Control and to reduce outstanding debt.

Key

Responsibilities:


Responsibility for the operation of the company’s credit control function ensuring the efficient flow of cash in France

Follow the internal credit control processes to maintain low aged debtors

Correspond with customers by telephone and email to chase payment of outstanding invoices

Liaise directly with Customer Services for queries on invoices or payments received

Review and action credit referred orders

Ensure invoice queries are followed up in a timely manner to avoid overdue debts

Complete weekly/monthly reporting

Support Customers, Sales Managers and Customer Service where required

Send automated letters from the system

Ensure complete and accurate Master Data

About You:

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience within a fast-paced accounts clerk or credit control position

Excellent understanding of Credit control

Proficient French and English speaking and written skills

Advanced Excel skills

Ability to meet deadlines and have excellent time management skills

Problem solving skills

Good communication skills
