Cedar is currently partnered with an established Real Estate business to secure an Interim Financial Accountant, based in Central London. The role is a 9-month initial contract, paying a pro-rata'd salary of £65,000 - £80,000.

The Role
As Interim Financial Accountant, you will:
Contribute to year-end reporting for group and subsidiary accounts, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
Act as one of the key contacts for external auditors to facilitate timely account completion and filing with Companies House and banking deadlines.
Support month-end procedures and assist in the preparation of Group management accounts, including accruals/prepayments, service charge calculations and ad-hoc analysis.
Perform bank reconciliations and prepare cash flow forecasts.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and month-end postings.
Analyse various business streams within the company, assessing revenue versus costs.
Your Profile
You will ideally have:
A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA).
Previous experience of financial and management accounting processes.
Strong Excel skills
Experience of managing relationships and working closely with other accounting departments
Prior experience in an interim / contract role would be beneficial but not necessary.
Prior experience within the Real Estate / Property sector is beneficial but not necessary.
Availability to begin immediately or at short notice.
The salary of £65,000 - £80,000. represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
