Finance Manager - £35-40K - Immediate Start

Are you an experienced and detail-driven finance professional looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking a Finance Manager to join our team and take ownership of financial operations across multiple entities.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Reconciliation of company bank accounts across Xero

* Managing purchase invoices and ensuring accurate purchase ledger postings

* Ensuring seamless integration of sales data into accounting records

* Taking on payroll responsibilities including pension & HMRC contributions

* Handling VAT submissions & group VAT returns

* Preparing and reconciling balance sheet and profit & loss accounts

* Declaring IPT liabilities to HMRC

* Supporting period-end close with external accountants

* Managing staff expense claims & responding to wage/pension queries

* Providing monthly cash flow forecasts

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience in finance/accounting roles

* Strong knowledge of Xero (or other cloud-based accounting software)

* Confident Excel user

* Hands-on approach to finance operations

* Experience of PAYE, VAT, and IPT reporting

* Familiarity with accounting standards
