- Lead and mentor a team of claims specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Oversee the end-to-end management of homeowners insurance claims, ensuring they are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Review and assess complex claims, making informed decisions to authorize settlements or escalate as necessary.
- Maintain and improve claims processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, and external partners to resolve claims promptly.
- Monitor and report on team performance, claims metrics, and customer satisfaction levels.
- Address escalated client concerns and resolve disputes effectively.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and excellent customer service.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in homeowners claims management or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading or supervising a team within an insurance claims environment.
- Strong knowledge of homeowners insurance policies, claims processes, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
