Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with an excellent business and brand near Wigan to recruit a new Commercial Accountant.The role will hold a high degree of autonomy and ownership, and will be responsible for supporting financial performance via commercial insights, financial analysis and management information to aid decision making and the creation of cost-effective strategies.This role will suit a commercially minded, driven, ACCA/ACA/CIMA nearly or newly qualified individual who can thrive within a business partnering position.Responsibilities include:

• Reporting to the Financial Controller and supporting in providing insightful reporting to senior stakeholders, driving performance and improvement opportunities
• Business partnering across multiple divisions including Finance, Sales, Operations and Marketing to drive revenue and profitability
• Assist in the preparation of business cases for new projects and investments

• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances and areas of improvements
• Provide margin analysis, pricing and profitability analysis to provide actionable business insights
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process
• Assist with scenario planning and financial modelling
• Optimise financial performance through identifying cost saving opportunities
• Provide financial input into new business initiatives, product launches and commercial decisions

• Presenting ideas on continuous improvements and efficiencies across the group
• Ad hoc project work as the business continues to expand
