We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Executive to join our team. The Payroll Executive will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key
Responsibilities:
Process payroll for employees accurately and on time using payroll software.
Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness.
Calculate wages, deductions, commissions, and taxes.
Prepare and distribute paychecks or electronic transfers to employees.
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure all documentation is organized and up to date.
Prepare payroll reports for management as needed.
Stay up to date with relevant payroll laws and regulations.
Assist in the implementation of payroll process improvements.
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and financial reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in payroll processing or related role.
Proficiency with payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
