We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a small but thriving company that produces specialist protective clothing in the South Manchester area.
You’ll play a vital role in managing financial records, processing invoices, and supporting the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Credit Control:
  Monitor overdue payments, resolve client disputes, and maintain debtor records.
• Accounts Payable:
  Process invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and prepare payment runs.
• Reconciliations:
  Perform bank and ledger reconciliations, investigating discrepancies.
• Final Accounts Preparation:
  Assist with trial balances, adjustments, and year-end schedules.
• General Support:
  Maintain financial records and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Part qualified or just finished AAT (or equivalent qualification)
• 2+ years’ experience within a similar role
• To be able to work on their own initiative at times
