The Company

Our client is a well-known global speciality organisation, with a mix of Retail, Ecommerce and Wholesale.

The Role

The Head of Finance will be critical in supporting both operational and strategic financial management across the company, ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business and have strong commercial acumen, with a supportive and engaging leadership style.

Key Responsibilities

• Finance operations - full accountability for operation and control of key finance processes
• Risk management - partner the senior management team to ensure key business risks are managed
• Driving business performance - Partner the relevant stakeholders to deliver in year financial targets
• Improve return on investment - Establish price and promotional guidelines for sales team to operate
• Channel expansion- build a robust P&L model to understand where interventions are needed at an operational level
• Lead and mentor the Finance team

Skills and Experience

• Fully qualified as a CA or CPA
• Retail/consumer goods industry experience, highly regarded
• 7 + years' experience at a senior commercial Finance level
• Proven track record in a similar, hands-on environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication
