Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner who is looking for a hybrid role where they can add real value and become an integral part of their senior team by building strong relationships and providing support in evaluating and modelling commercial opportunities.

What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?

• Providing insightful decision-making support to ensure any implications are fully considered and understood, and ultimately enabling the business to make investment decisions and to meet strategic objectives;
• Working closely with senior leaders to provide analytical support and advice to inform decision making process;
• Developing and implementing finance initiatives to support the business;
• Playing a supporting role in the preparation board packs, together with submissions for budgeting and forecasting;
• Reviewing and evaluating actual versus planned outcomes of key strategic and tactical decisions to support the delivery of the required ROI;
• Supporting the continual improvement of existing reporting standards in order to reduce delivery time.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner role:

• Proven business partnering skills and the ability to challenge senior leaders across the business;
• Experience of investment appraisals, ideally for sizable projects;
• Construction experience would also be highly beneficial.
