Interim Financial Accountant

£450-£550 per day (Inside IR35)

We’re seeking a fully qualified, technically skilled Interim Financial Accountant to assist our client with their year-end processes and support various ad hoc projects.

This role reports directly to an outstanding Financial Controller and offers high levels of autonomy and responsibility. If you’re an experienced Financial Accountant with expertise in audits, year-end, corporate reporting and tax returns, then this is an excellent opportunity to jump straight into a new contract ASAP!

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA).
• Proven experience in year-end, corporate reporting, tax, and audits.
• Strong Excel skills.
• High emotional intelligence and excellent people skills.

The Role

As the successful Interim Financial Accountant, you’ll take ownership of the following:

• Supporting year-end statutory accounting processes.
• Preparing audit schedules and financial statements.
• Assisting the Financial Controller with month-end responsibilities.
• Ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial data.
• Reviewing and addressing corporate reporting needs.

Due to the urgency of this position, we’re looking for someone who is either immediately available or on a notice period of no more than one week. Initially, this is a 4-6 month contract, with the potential to extend or develop into a longer-term opportunity.

Salary & Benefits

• Day rate: £450-£550 (dependent on experience).
• Hybrid working: 4 days in the office per week.
