Position
This role is perfect for an experienced accountant looking to build their skills in a consulting and advisory environment, and will ideally suit someone who enjoys a combination of technical accounting and working on strategies.
- Deal with complex tax situations, optimizing tax strategies for clients including GST, CGT, FBT, and income tax.
- Offer advice on business strategy, structure, expansion, and financial planning.
- Create and analyze financial models to predict business performance, cash flows, and investment opportunities.
- Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and business sales, protecting client interests.
- Solve business problems with innovative, compliant solutions.
- Build strong client relationships through personalized advice, understanding their specific needs.
- Advise on wealth transfer and business succession planning.
- Evaluate and reduce financial risks for clients' business operations.
- Assit in mentoring junior accountants, promoting a culture of learning.
- Keep up with new tax and business strategies to benefit clients.

Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Full CPA or CA completion is a plus.
- Experience in tax planning, business advisory, or similar roles in Australia.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
- Good at communicating complex ideas simply.
- Proven track record in building client relationships.
- Committed to continuous learning and ability to be able to adapt.
