Join a leading FMCG brand as an Assistant Accountant (Bookkeeper) and be a part of a dynamic finance team in the Western Cape!
We are looking for a professional who thrives in fast-paced FMCG environments and is prepared to engage with the full scope of accounting duties. Your responsibilities will include managing stock control from raw materials to finished products and returns, handling financial procedures encompassing both debtors and creditors, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting on deviations with actionable recommendations.
The ideal candidate should have Matric and an Accounting degree, such as BCom Financial or Internal Auditing. We value experience in stock control and a background in a similar role, with supervisory experience being a significant advantage. Applicants should be analytical, assertive, and exhibit advanced Excel skills, including daily use of pivot tables and formulas. Additionally, excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) are crucial.
