The Junior Accountant will report into the Group Financial Manager:

• Should be proficient in Excel (At least at VLOOKUP level)
  
• Have GAAP (or similar) experience
  
• Familiar with Restaurant (very beneficial) bookkeeping processes & procedures
• Have SAGE / Xero knowledge
• Have a good understanding of stock management and the accounting of such
• Qualifications: Degree preferable, but Diploma will suffice
• Experience: More than 3 years in a similar role
• Language: English (Afrikaans, added bonus)
• Working hours: Mondays - Fridays 8h00-17h00

Daily / monthly responsibiliites:

• Cash-up reconciliation (3 Entities) (18 Stores in total)
• Processing of Cash Purchases
• Monthly Accounting / Stock Journals
• Oversee Stock Takes
• Process Cashbooks
• Supplier & Customers Admin / Processing
• Should have own Car

Desired Skills:

• Stock journals
• Stock Control
• Bookkeeping
• Reconciliation
• GAAP

Desired Work Experience:

• 2 to 5 years Financial / Project Accounting

Desired Qualification Level:

• Diploma
