Job Description:As the COO, your duties and responsibilities include the following:Partner with the CEO to define and drive the company's vision, operational strategy, and staffing levelsTranslate high-level strategy into actionable growth initiatives, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planningOversee daily company operations and employee productivity, fostering a highly inclusive culture that enables team members to thrive and meet organizational objectivesManage and coordinate daily business functions, including collaboration with HR, legal, sales, marketing, manufacturing, finance, IT, and other departmentsWork closely with executives and senior management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and effective business performanceProvide support and guidance to senior executives and employees, advising on promotions, recruitment, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retentionEnsure compliance with all relevant business regulations and take appropriate action when necessaryRegularly meet with and report to the CEO on daily operations, realigning strategies, and adjusting company goals as neededServe as the CEO's deputy, stepping in for them when absent or otherwise unavailableDevelop, implement, and communicate policies for daily operations to department supervisorsEnsure alignment with company policies and goals, both those set by the COO and those established by the CEO and other executives Skills & Experience: 10-15 years of experience working as an executive in the apparel manufacturing industryProven experience building long-lasting relationships with professionalsProficiency in MS Office Qualification:Completed Honours degree or MBA in Business Management Contact JENELLE COOKSON on 021 418 1750, quoting the Ref: CTF020290.
