A career in our Merger and Acquisition Tax practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.
Our team helps our clients with various aspects of a merger and acquisition transactions such as restructuring, divestiture, partnerships and insolvency. You’ll focus on helping clients establish treasury goals, analyse and quantify tax assets, assess tax risks, and model taxable income and cash flow impacts.

Responsibilities:
PwC’s M&A Tax & Regulatory practice provides end-to-end solutions for different types of domestic and cross-border transactions including mergers, demergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, inbound and outbound advisory, transaction and business model structuring, due diligence and family arrangements.
The tasks, roles and responsibilities pertaining to the job role of an Associate Director/ Senior Manager will include the following:

Working in this discipline will see an Associate Director/ Senior Manager working on multiple engagements and teams (sizes of which will vary depending on client/project).

To qualify for the same an Associate Director/Senior Manager will need:
- To be a Qualified Chartered Accountant / CS / LLB with 8+ years’ of relevant experience
- Thorough technical knowledge of Direct Tax, Corporate laws, Stamp Duty, FEMA and SEBI Regulations
- Other prerequisite skills include:
- Demonstrating innovative and critical thinking in providing solutions to client queries & managing projects
