A career in our Financial Services Tax practice, within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You’ll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals.
Our team helps our Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. You’ll help our clients with their tax structuring while helping to address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.

- Independently handle all aspects of engagements on multiple clients
- Handle multiple team verticals
- Analyse complex technical issues and offer solutions
- Independently build relationships at senior client management
- Independently manage client litigation matters with litigation team/outside counsel
- Understand client’s business and lead client relationships when working on joint projects with other teams
- Developing new product/taking new initiative jointly with partner
- Front end discussions and make presentations in public forum on technical matters
- End to end management of client expectations and engagement economics
- Actively work on business development activities
- Identifying leads on network XLoS within the firm
- Mining of existing clients & identifying business opportunities for engagements across service lines
- Collaborating with other service lines to present complete solutions in client pitching and servicing
- Take active role in thought leadership initiatives to provide innovative solutions
- Coaching and mentoring team members
- Attending relevant seminars/conferences for networking and keeping onself abreast with all developments in the FS space

To qualify for the same a Senior Manager will need:
- To be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of relevant experience
- To have a thorough technical knowledge of Tax, FEMA regulations, SEBI regulations, Companies Act
- To demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- To have excellent presentation and report writing skills
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and lead teams and Client relationships
- Have the appropriate soft skills to be a brand ambassador for the firm
- Thorough knowledge of Tax laws, Double Tax Avoidance Agreement, FEMA, SEBI regulations, Companies Act.
- Awareness regarding all developments from tax and regulatory standpoint in FS space is expected
- Knowledge of the commercials in FS industry
