Finance Business Partner (Operations)
Humdinger, Bromborough (Wirral)
Join our team as a Finance Business Partner and play a crucial role in driving financial success for our snacking operations. You will lead all aspects of accounting, provide comprehensive business partnering support, and inspire a team of Finance Analysts and Cost Accountants.
This role is Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 per day (37.5 hours per week) with hybrid working options.

Join our team as a Finance Business Partner and play a crucial role in driving financial success for our snacking operations. You will lead all aspects of accounting, provide comprehensive business partnering support, and inspire a team of Finance Analysts and Cost Accountants.

- Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of all operational financial results
- Provide analytical insight and operational support to all operational functions
- Continuously challenging performance and recommending corrective actions
- Provide strong and rigorous financial leadership for all operational teams
- Proactively manage risks, opportunities and budgeting accuracy
- Ensuring the processes and systems within the finance team enable Zertus UK&I to face today and tomorrow’s challenges
- Assist in running the Planning and Budgeting process for Zertus UK&I
- Support and develop the financial integration of the business wide S&OP process
- Team management and support.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience within a manufacturing organisation (ideally food & drink) and an understanding of the inherent opportunities and challenges therein
- Experience of multi-site operational footprint
- Strong leadership ability and proven experience of building competencies in a finance team
- Experience in senior financial management roles, working closely with and ability to influence senior executives
- Good understanding of IT systems
- Good understanding of supply chain
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, together with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
- Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
- Open, collaborative style and the ability to roll sleeves up and get into the detail
- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment

- The ability to think strategically and conceptually, and also to operate at a tactical level, driving rigorous execution and implementation
