Axi Recruitment is partnering with a key client to recruit a Management Accountant for a specialist manufacturing business based in North East Lincolnshire. This is a pivotal role, offering essential support and playing a key part in driving the financial performance of the business.
Key
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation and reporting of monthly and weekly trading performance, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
* Create detailed financial performance analysis for Senior Leadership Team (SLT) use.
* Regularly update monthly management accounts with forecasts and final actuals.
* Prepare month-end reconciliations, maintaining the fixed asset register, reconciling control accounts, and resolving any discrepancies.
* Update financial overhead forecasts for each department and track final monthly actuals.
* Contribute to the development of new business reports, KPIs, and dashboards across multiple departments.
* Prepare and deliver weekly management accounts and KPI reports for leadership review.
* Assist with the processing of weekly payroll, including payroll analysis journals and adjustments for manufacturing labour recharges.
* Perform additional financial tasks and provide support as required by the business needs.
Key Requirements:
* Part Qualified or Fully Qualified in CIMA or ACCA or equivalent
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy when liaising across all business functions.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong computer literacy, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and look-ups.
