Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 (Some hybrid working available)
Are you ready to take on a challenging role within a dynamic team? We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our client based in Dover.
Key
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing management accounts to track and analyse the financial performance.
Manage the sales ledger, handling invoicing, and ensuring timely and accurate recording of sales transactions.
Oversee the purchase ledger, including posting supplier invoices and ensuring that payments are processed accurately and on time.
Contribute to stock reporting, providing critical data and insights to support inventory management and decision-making.
Support the finance team in the month-end close process, including reconciliations and preparing financial reports.
Requirements:
Part-qualified accountant with a relevant financial qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) and a commitment to further professional development.
Proven experience in preparing management accounts and managing sales and purchase ledgers.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
