Churchill Howard are currently partnering with a well-known business in Herefordshire to recruit a Senior Commercial Finance Manager. This role will lead a small team in the delivery of commercial finance support, FP&A and management accounting for the business.
Responsibilities will include:
* Acting as business partner to senior stakeholders in key business areas
* Delivering analysis to support decision making
* Identifying opportunities and risks for commercial benefit
* Preparation of budgets and forecasts and supporting budget owners
* Drive data led decision making and enhance the use of data to this effect
* Conducting investment appraisals and supporting contract negotiations
* Overseeing the production of management accounts and associated monthly board reporting / commentary
The successful person will have:
* A recognised UK accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
* Relevant experience in commercial finance roles
* Leadership capabilities to manage, lead and develop others
* Strong communication skills to support team and business stakeholders
* Strong competency with financial systems
