Job Details

Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Beverages and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis. The position exists to assist the finance function to proactively support the operational and finance requirements of the Company. Responsible to provide Finance Outcomes expected from the finance division such as annual planning and monthly financial reporting within statutory and group guidelines.

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

  • Ensure that the monthly/quarterly management accounts of the business segment are accurate, timely, aligned with the annual plan, and identify areas of improvement and risk.
  • Prepare annual plans for the business segment on time, in consultation with the Category Heads.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of actual costs vs the annual plan, ensure strict adherence to budgets, and hold cost review meetings.
  • Conduct financial feasibility studies as required.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support commercial strategies and initiatives.
  • Support the development of pricing strategies, cost analyses, and profitability assessments.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive business performance and strategic projects.
  • Preparation of Annual Reports

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Associate member of CIMA/ACCA/CA with at least 5 years of experience in Management Accounting, business value partnering and financial planning preferably in FMCG or manufacturing industry.
  • Broad understanding of the financial behaviour of a manufacturing company.
  • Sound knowledge in Costing systems, Accounting Knowledge, SAP.
  • Strategic Thinking; Business Acumen and Financial analytical skills; Innovative; Communication; Adaptability; Negotiation; Decision Taking and problem Solving; Attention to detail.
