Senior Tax Analyst

The Senior Tax Analyst will work closely with the Tax Director to assist in the implementation and maintenance of best-in-class tax processes for accurate and timely: (1) financial reporting of global income taxes; (2) Federal and State income tax compliance oversight; (3) tax audit preparation and defense (4) transactional tax compliance oversight as well as informational tax reporting oversight (1099s, 1042s, FBAR etc) and (5) tax support for strategic tax planning initiatives including transfer pricing. Works cross functionally with internal and external business partners to support them with analysis advice and information needed to make business decisions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of the quarterly income tax accounting including cumulative deferred tax account reconciliations and valuation allowances
- Coordinate with and assist external resources with the preparation of the federal and state income tax returns
- Maintain tax calendar to ensure that all tax returns and estimated payments are filed timely
- Prepare, file and pay all transactional taxes
- Assist with responses to federal and state notices or audits
- Assist with the documentation and validation that global tax internal controls are adequate, functioning properly and are timely updated as required
- Participate in tax planning initiatives and special projects
Knowledge or Experience:
- Tax compliance and planning experience - both domestic and international
- Experience with maintenance of tax internal control structure
- Experience with federal and state tax audit preparation and defense
- Ability to work in a team environment across Corporate Finance and Operations
Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree accounting or related field plus 3-6 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of accounting systems (preferably JDE), Excel and Word
- Strong communication skills verbal and written
- Ability to oversee multiple and competing projects in a fast-paced, changing team environment.
- Knowledge of IFRS beneficial
Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience
