The Product Owner drives the development and improvement of solutions that improve client services and enhance operational efficiency in investment administration. This role bridges client requirements, business needs and technical teams, ensuring streamlined operations, such as trade settlements and fund accounting, to deliver value and support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Vision & Strategy
- Define and maintain the product vision and strategy for investment administration tools and systems, aligning with organizational goals.
- Prioritize features and functionality based on client requirements, business value, compliance requirements, and user needs.
2. Backlog Management
- Maintain a well-defined product backlog, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage clients to define requirements to deliver excellent services, using immersive research techniques.
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment on product goals and progress.
4. Market Engagement
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes that could impact the services delivered to clients
5. Development Collaboration
- Work closely with development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
6. Testing & Validation
- Define and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet client and business needs.
- Address feedback and resolve defects promptly.
7. Performance Monitoring
- Develop and track KPIs to measure product performance and adoption.
- Use insights to refine and optimize product features.
