This is a brilliant opportunity for an individual who is a proven finance and accounting professional who is now looking to take the next step of their career.
This is a newly created position as a result of the continuous growth of the business, and you will be reporting directly Group Financial Director.
The Management Accountant will develop into a finance leader within the organisation and there will be some potential to refine the parameters of the role based on the candidate’s experience and development needs.

Main Responsibilities
- Prepare the monthly management accounts for several of the overseas entities.
- Ensure accurate reporting to Directors on a monthly basis to agreed upon deadlines
- Act as a business partner for each of the entities
- Manage compliance with tax, VAT and other statutory reporting deadlines
- Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations and other month end control files.
- Support with the preparation of consolidated results, including forward looking budgets and forecasts
- Support with the year end audit process and be the key point of contact with the auditors throughout
- Support management decisions such as store openings
- Communicate with Directors and other senior management within the business on day-to-day activities and on findings from analysis/ review of accounts or ad hoc requests
- Keep up-to-date with technical and regulatory updates and be a key source of accounting expertise for the team
- Ensure robust financial controls are in place and work with other members of the finance team to ensure these are continually improved in line with industry best practice
- Identify efficiencies to streamline and improve our current processes
Experience/ Skill Requirements:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA)
- Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills
- Highly detail oriented and analytical with commerciality
- Ability to solve problems and be adaptable
- Highly proficient with excel and good IT literacy
- Driven, ambitious and professional
